We are very proud to be partnering with Resurgo to deliver the award-winning Spear programme in Islington.

Since 2016 Spear Islington have been helping young people to overcome the challenges they face and build vital skills and confidence for their career, so that they can prepare for the workplace and commit to long-term employment.

PRISON MINISTRY

Right on the edge of the parish is HMP Pentonville - a local category B resettlement prison for remand and convicted male prisoners aged 18 and over. For many incarcerated here, it can feel like there is no hope and no future.

Our Community Outreach Manager regularly goes in to Pentonville to assist with courses like Alpha and Hope Explored. More volunteers from Hope Church also support and pray for the inmates once a month during their Sunday services with a vision of helping those who may be at their lowest point in life, finding Hope through Christ.
