St Mary Magdalene’s church gardens are a much needed green space in the centre of Islington. They may not be used as freely or as often as they could be; but we believe that can change. We believe these gardens can be a gift to the surrounding neighbourhood, a sanctuary at the heart of life in this community.

We are holding an open meeting in St Mary Magdalene’s church on Tuesday 2nd November for anyone who, like us, has hope for these gardens. There will be space to share and catalogue concerns, as well as opportunities to imagine together a better future for this communal space.

Don’t give up on the gardens! Come along and together we can bring them back to the heart of life in this community.
