We welcome children and young people of all ages at Hope Church Islington. Children regularly take part in prayers, readings and worship at our all age services. The action songs at our 10am service are very popular with children and a great way for them to get involved in the worship.

Sundays at Hope Together 10 (our 10am service at Westbourne Road -  St David) are where our children's and youth groups meet which include:

  • Crèche – for babies and toddlers aged 0-3 (parents and carers stay with children).
  • Hope Explorers - worship, games, Bible stories and crafts, for younger children aged 3-6 years.
  • Hope Seekers - with activities for older children, aged 7-10.
  • Hope Youth – for young people in school year 6 and above.

Our vision for the children at Hope Church Islington is that the children who come would

  • Learn about Jesus and each other
  • Listen to God and each other
  • Lead others
  • Love God and each other

On the first Sunday of every month, Hope Together 10 is an all-age service. Rather than being a "children's" service, this is suitable for all ages - children, youth and adults - and the children stay in the service throughout. We would love for you to join us at one of these services - they're a lot of fun!

Hope Together 11 (our 11am service at Holloway Road - St Mary Magdalene) also provides a crèche space and welcomes children of all ages to stay in the service.

During the week we have:

A short, fun, and interactive church service for toddlers and their parents or carers. Each week we enjoy singing, a Bible story, prayer, and friendship. MiniPraise is open to all, and runs each Tuesday morning (term-time only), 9.45am at St Mary Magdalene Church.

Tuesdays 10am-12pm during term time at St Mary Magdalene Church, Holloway Road.

MiniMags is our parent/carer baby and toddler group (for children who are new-born to about four years old). It’s a great place to meet others with children of a similar age, and for children to socialise and play safely.

MiniMags includes:

  • lots of fun, fellowship and laughter
  • refreshments
  • plenty of space for soft play, messy activities, imaginary play and buggy parking
  • play time, story time and music time

For more info about MiniMags, call 020 7700 3394 or email us. If you would like to come along there is no need to pre-register, you can just turn up on the day and register when you get here.

Our Children's Advocate is Mary Roberts.
