Journeys of Hope is part of our response to the humanitarian crisis affecting the people of the Middle East.
We will be holding an evening event on the 8th of October to launch this exhibition, hear from the photographer, James Onalaja, and enjoy some drinks and nibbles.
This exhibition of photographs attempts to bring into focus the lives and rich cultural heritage of the Middle East and North West Africa from where many peoples are currently fleeing. It focuses on the lives many once knew, much of which is now destroyed or at risk of destruction due to the tragedy of war, terror and persecution.
Through the sale of these photographs, we hope to raise funds to support the works of the Red Cross and the Foundation for Relief and Reconciliation in the Middle East (FRRME) in assisting refugees from conflict and other desperate migrants.
Please do come along and spread the word - it will be a great evening, and a fantastic way to support those affected by this crisis.
Usual exhibition opening hours:
Tuesday 12-2pm; 6.30-8.30pm
Thursday 12-2pm; 6.30-8.30pm
