We would love for you to join us for our first ever HOPE WEEKEND! This is a weekend away for the entire Hope Church Islington family - whatever your age, whichever service or site you usually attend. As one church over two sites, it’s rare for all of our congregation to have the opportunity to come together... so, this is an event for EVERYONE!

You are free to arrive at any time from 4pm on the Friday, and we will leave after lunch on Sunday.
The Hope Weekend is taking place at High Leigh, a Christian conference centre based in Hoddeston, Hertfordshire. High Leigh is surrounded by 40 acres of lawns and woodland, as well as having sports and games facilities! The centre includes a variety of single, twin, double and family rooms, as well as accessible accommodation for guests with disabilities.
Train tickets from London to Broxbourne station cost under £18 return - taking 15 minutes from Tottenham Hale or 30 minutes from Liverpool Street. From there it is a short taxi ride to High Leigh (costing around £6), or a 30 minute walk for those feeling more energetic! High Leigh can also be reached by car in under an hour.

The Hope Weekend will include times of worship, teaching, provision for children and youth, and entertainment!
Although there will be scheduled sessions over the weekend, there will still be opportunities to relax, make use of the grounds, buildings and other facilities.
Most importantly, however, we will have plenty of space to spend time together, catch up, and make new friends!
We are really keen for everyone to feel able to come to the Hope Weekend, so tickets are being offered at a heavily subsidised rate. The standard rate for an adult would usually be £147, however, the cost for the full weekend will be as follows:

We are also introducing a family rate, whereby the total for a family is capped at £200.
The cost of the weekend covers accommodation, all meals (Friday dinner until Sunday lunch) as well as snacks and refreshments.

When booking, you will have the opportunity to include an additional donation if you would like to help in subsidising the cost of the weekend - although of course there is no pressure at all to do so!
In order to secure your booking, a deposit of £20 per person (excluding children aged 0-5) is required. To book onto the Hope Weekend, please hand in a completed booking form (available from Church, or to download here) along with your deposit to any member of church staff, or return to the HCI Office, St Mary Magdalene Church, Holloway Road, N7 8LT. Booking is open now, and full payment is required by the end of February 2018.
